Keiko Kitamura O.D. completed her undergraduate degree in psychobiology at UCLA and went on to study to become an optometrist at the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, CA. She received her Doctor of Optometry in May 2006 after completing a year of internships in Downtown LA, Santa Monica, and Japan. During that year, she was trained in various areas of optometry such as disease, contact lenses, and low vision. She is able to perform contact lens fittings as well as diagnosing and treating eye diseases. During her free time, Dr. Kitamura loves to try new things to eat and cook--she is a fan of the Food Network. One day she would like to travel across the country and around the world to experience all of its different cuisines. |
You can now enjoy the benefits of improving both near vision and far vision after cataract surgery!
