From the moment I walked into the East West Eye Institute for my LASIK consultation, I was greeted by a friendly front office staff... As nervous as I was, I left the doctor’s office anxious and excited for the possibility of seeing without my contacts and glasses for the first time in 18 years!

Working with the entire staff, Dr. Fred Kurata in particular, was an absolute pleasure.  His friendly personality, knowledgeable answers and calm demeanor were key in the entire process.

The entire procedure, from start to finish, ran extremely smoothly.  Thanks to you, I am now able to see 20/20 and can wake up and see my alarm clock without having to blindly search for my glasses!  Thank you again for the wonderful experience I had with the East West Eye Institute organization and staff...and for giving me the wonderful gift of sight again!

It has been 4 1/2 years since Dr. Marsico performed lasik on my eyes and I am still 20/20 and doing great!  I must say the procedure was life changing for me.  It went very smoothly and was over in about 20 minutes.  In fact, that same evening I attended a Christmas party for the first time without my glasses and it was wonderful!  Another aspect I really enjoy is the fact that I no longer have to mess with my glasses and contact lenses in the morning which leaves me extra time to get ready for the day.  I trust my eyes to Dr. Marsico, after all, he is my husband of over 5 years now.
