Advanced Surgical and Laser Treatment
The East West Eye Institute is a complete eyecare facility. Not only do we have experts in lasik and other forms of refractive surgery, but the East West Eye Institute also has experts in the fields of glaucoma, corneal disease and oculoplastics (plastic surgery of the eyelids). We utilize advanced laser technology to treat conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, various forms of glaucoma, and secondary cataracts. Eyelid and facial rejuvenation can be obtained with Botox® and cosmetic fillers such as Juvederm®, Radiesse®, and Restylane®. These and other injectibles may be used individually, together or combined with blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) to help achieve a desired cosmetic result. Our doctors have performed thousands of cataract operations and utilize topical anesthesia with no-stitch, no-needle techniques to optimize patient comfort. In addition, we incorporate some of the latest technology for cataract surgery such as the ReSTOR Multifocal IOL which allows vision at both distance and near simultaneously, thereby minimizing the need for glasses postoperatively.
